WIKIPEDIA TRAINING INTIATIVE

BRINGING A NEW GENERATION TO WIKIPEDIA

Knowledge and a commitment to open culture is the key to breaking the hegemonies of knowledge that exist in society. In this effort, Project Mukti's work has led to the first sets of national Wikipedia edit-a-thons with students from marginalised communities around the country.

Building off our work, in 2020 we will be growing into more states and more languages. We will include a focus on STEM knowledge and editing in Hindi.

All of our workshops introduce participants to the basics of Wikipedia editing as well as what makes a good Wikipedia article and how to adhere to the Wikipedian community principles.

If you would like to host or attend our Wikipedia edit-a-thon please contact us us directly!
